Ok well observed, this one isn't a drink. It's really really good though! Autumn in a dish.
Fruit
5–6 apples, peeled and roughly chopped
250g blackberries
60ml Barti Spiced
2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
Squeeze of lemon
½ tsp cinnamon
Crunchy crumble topping:
120g plain flour
100g butter or vegan block
80g porridge oats
60g brown sugar
40g mixed nuts, roughly chopped — walnuts/hazelnuts/almonds
30g mixed seeds — pumpkin/sunflower/sesame
Pinch of sea salt
½ tsp cinnamon
Method
Chuck the apples and blackberries into a baking dish with the Barti, sugar or honey, lemon and cinnamon. Give it a quick mix.
Rub the butter into the flour in a separate bowl until crumbly, then stir everything else through. Don't make it too neat, we like it rustic and chunky.
Pile over the Barti apple & blackberry mix and bake at 180°C for around 30 mins or until golden and bubbling.
Drizzle 1 tbsp Barti and 1 tbsp of honey over the topping for the final 10 minutes. It'll catch the nuts and oats and give you lovely crunchy caramelised bits, boom.
